Walk-around evidence,
ready when the DVSA arrives.
DVSA-aligned vehicle walk-arounds, driver hours, tachograph reminders and audit trail — built on a working UK transport operation.
Five places it hides.
Transport managers carry personal liability. The paperwork is the proof you did the job. Here's where the paperwork fails.
Driver walk-around checks happen but the paper book is in the cab, sometimes initialled, sometimes not — and never time-stamped to the engine start.
Defects raised by drivers don't always reach the workshop before the next shift — the closed-loop trail is patchy.
Driver hours and tachograph downloads sit on a USB stick that lives in the office drawer.
Maintenance schedules drift behind the actual mileage — and the spreadsheet that tracks them is on one person's laptop.
When the visit comes, it takes three days to assemble the evidence pack — and the transport manager is the one losing sleep.
What we automate
ComplyOS transport pack
DVSA-aligned walk-around checks at engine-start, defect reporting with workshop notification, driver hours capture and tachograph reminders. Built and used on our own X-Eagle fleet.
Driver app (offline-first)
Native iOS + Android. Walk-around checklist, photo evidence of defects, signature capture for handover. Works offline in workshops, basements and motorway dead-spots.
Pre-visit prep
Pre-DVSA gap analysis, mock-audit drill, driver briefing pack and corrective-action template. Bridge to ComplyOS for ongoing posture.
Numbers from our
own ops.
192 walk-arounds, all on phone
On our own X-Eagle transport operation we run walk-arounds at engine-start via the driver app, with photo evidence of defects.
100% time-stamped. Defect photo + workshop note attached at source. No paper book.
Driver hours + audit log
Driver hours captured against jobs, exported in the format the DVSA examiner expects.
1,385 audit log entries across the operating company — searchable, filterable, signed.
AI weekly compliance digest
13 AI weekly reports flagging gaps before the auditor would.
Sample digest available on the call.
Fixed prices.
4-week pilot offer.
1–3 weeks. Gap analysis, mock-audit drill, driver briefing.

Sober list,
not a sales sheet.
It won't replace your transport manager. Their CPC and their personal accountability stay where they are.
It won't fix a vehicle that should be off the road. It just makes the defect visible faster.
It won't pass an inspection that should have failed — but it does mean a passable one is unambiguous.
It won't extend your O-licence on its own. The DVSA still wants to see the human + the process. We give them the evidence.
Verifiable, not aspirational.
Honest answers.
Where we're genuinely uncertain we say so — and we ship a working spike in 2 weeks for you to test before you commit.
Is this DVSA-aligned or DVSA-certified?+
DVSA-aligned. The DVSA does not certify software — they audit the operator. Our walk-around content is built around the standard checklist; we ship a working version for you to test in 2 weeks against your O-licence undertakings before you commit.
Does it integrate with tachograph download?+
We accept tachograph file imports (DDD / TGD) and surface driver-hours summaries. Direct tachograph hardware integration is feasible for specific fleets — we ship a working spike in 2–3 weeks before committing.
What about Earned Recognition?+
The platform produces the KPI evidence that Earned Recognition asks for. We do not submit on your behalf — you keep that relationship with your auditor.
Will drivers actually use it?+
We've watched drivers use this on our own fleet. The walk-around is faster than paper because the photos are taken there anyway. Refusal usually traces to bad change-management, not bad software — we provide the briefing pack to head that off.
