Five honest answers.
Do you do hourly?
No — we work fixed-price by default. You know the cost before we start. Hourly billing creates the wrong incentive (slow work = more money). If you genuinely need T&M (e.g. exploratory R&D), we can scope a time-boxed sprint.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes — projects can be split into 3 milestone payments (deposit, mid, launch). Retainers are billed monthly in advance. White-label deals can be revenue share with a low or zero upfront.
Refund policy?
If we miss a milestone for reasons that are our fault, we'll refund the milestone payment in full. We have never had to do this. We're motivated to ship — that's the whole pitch.
Who owns the code?
You do, in your private repo, from the very first commit. No source-code escrow nonsense. No vendor lock-in. We even hand over the AI prompts and eval harness if your project includes AI.
What if we want to leave?
You keep the code, the database, the domain, the payments account, the hosting deploy — all of it. We give you a migration walkthrough on the way out. We'd rather you stay because the work is good, not because the exit is hard.
